Bringing Sacredness to Your Practice

Join Yogini Cathy Woods for a beautiful evening of sacred yoga. “Bringing Sacredness to Your Practice” is a two-hour class on Wednesday May 7th from 6- 8 pm at The Yoga Studio at Lakeview at Fontana (Off Hwy 74 near Bryson City, NC).

Do you sometimes feel your practice is lacking in richness? Do you feel like your yoga is just another form of exercise? Is your practice bringing you a sense joy & peace, during and after?

In its origins, Yoga was a Sacred Path to Self Realization, to our Authentic Self, to Enlightenment. Most westernized versions of yoga seem to exclude the sweetness, richness, & depth of this tradition, mostly focusing on postures.
Come rekindle & experience authentic yoga in the spirit of Bhakti (to share in the devotional aspect of Yoga)
This candlelit evening will include

  • Discussion
  • Chants
  • Pranayama
  • Deep meditation
  • Asana/postures (for all levels)
  • Guided yoga nidra

$15.00 per person | Reservations required by May 5 | Program Flyer (please print and share)

  1. Can I simply just say what a reelif to find a person that actually understands what they are discussing on the net. You certainly realize how to bring a problem to light and make it important. A lot more people have to check this out and understand this side of your story. It’s surprising you are not more popular because you most certainly possess the gift.

    • Sorry for the LONG delay in responding, however for some web/internet reason, I just now am seeing my comments. So glad you enjoy my writing and thank you for your compliments. I aim to provide yoga from the heart and keep it authentic. Why I am not more popular is unknown to me…I put myself out there and see what happens. Maybe I need a publicist 🙂 If you e mail me your e mail address and or like my Face Book page I can keep you better updated on my work and happenings. Many thanks for your support.
